Lace knitting is always exciting because the lace pattern usually won’t be clearly revealed until you’ve invested weeks, if not months, of effort and then properly bathed and blocked the piece. I challenged myself by knitting this elegant lace collar, a pattern obtained from the book Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible: 260 Exquisite Patterns by Hitomi Shida. I used 100% linen yarn from Växbo Lin in Sweden, as I intend for it to be worn in hot and humid weather.
