Lace making seemed so distant to me until I joined the Guild Lace Day organised by the Guild of Irish Lacemakers and met my current bobbin lace teacher, Ann Margaret Keller. It’s been an amazing experience learning bobbin lace so far, and currently I’m making a pincushion designed by Ann and a heart designed by Simona Strgulc Krajšek. What is bobbin lace?
